Our Earl of Abergavenny project volunteers enjoyed a visit to Portland Museum from Curator of World History and Cultures, Dr Aaron Jaffer from Royal Museums Greenwich.

We picked up a whole host of handy hints and useful tips on sharing our collection with a wider audience – thank you Aaron!

Dr Aaron Jaffer will soon be running a workshop for our Earl of Abergavenny project volunteers on how to write successful text for museums. 

This workshop will go a long way to help share the knowledge we’ve accrued on the amazing shipwreck finds in our collection – watch this space!
