Collection conservation made possible thanks to grant

Come and see our new exhibit in the Portland Galleries showcasing some of the interesting artefacts we uncovered whilst sorting through our collection in storage.
Last year we were grateful to be awarded a grant from AiM (Association of independent museums) and the Pilgrim Trust. Thanks to this grant we were able secure the future of our collections with museum grade storage and packing materials.
Our volunteers did an amazing job, getting stuck in and learning how to correctly package artefacts.
