On Thursday 27th February 2:30pm – 4pm, Portland Museum will be hosting ‘The Island & Royal Manor of Portland Court Leet: Its Past and Future’ presented by Crown local agent and Bailiff, Gerry Hinde. This a great opportunity to learn the rich history of the Court Leet, believed to have originated around 1086, and still operates and supports the community of this fascinating island today.
