Promoting an exciting new joint project between Weymouth Museum, The Nothe Fort and Portland Museum take a journey in time from Roman Weymouth at Bowleaze Cove to the current Portland Bill Lighthouse which was built in the early 1900s to replace two earlier lighthouses built in the early 1700s.

The project has been made possible by a grant from The South West Museum Development Programme and this video has been shot and produced by Weymouth based film production company Harbour Media.

The project will also include a new Weymouth Heritage website www.wpheritage.co.uk, events taking place after the official launch on 7 Sept ’19 and distribution of supporting Heritage Leaflets.
